Note On Scenitunes

Scenitunes is the combination of two words 'scene' and 'tunes'!
It is just my way of not using the term soundtrack!
No one wants to listen to a movie soundtrack per se.
There is, usually, too many sounds (and noise) in almost any given movie.
In other cultures they call it 'the accompanying dramatic music'
in a movie or 'descriptive music' or whatever.
Soundtrack is just a North American thing. Probably at one point
in time someone was trying to market a movie as sound and leave it
for the listner to imagine suitable scenes for it!
Soundtrack is everywhere now in the life of people. Everybody has
a soundtrack broadcasting internally for him. The other day a lady
said to me: "You have literally made the soundtrack of my day!"
Literally she said. I almost stopped thinking about soundtrack
to protest the term literally but I decided to remain focused.
When you hear a certain tune or song playing incessantly inside
your mind this used to be no soundtrack. It was thought of as a
sign of emotional or mental stress. Now it has this cinematic name:
soundtrack!
Psychiatrists are probably happy fixing people's soundtracks.
Any way, it feels good to have running inside you such a track like
the one from "The good, the bad and the ugly" or the victorious one
from "Rocky"!
I am going to build a highly selective list of the best movie
soundtracks for you to enjoy:

سؤال الضهبان لا تظنن أنه سؤال هيّن! أو عليك أن تتأكد أن السائل لم يعد ضهبان. وحتى في هذه الحالة ربما لم يجد الجواب ولكنه فقط تحوّل من (الضهب) إلى حالة أحسن نسبياً ودون تفسير. أي سؤال هو ليس بالهيّن. وأي سؤال هو لم يُسأل عبثاً ولهوا. زي، يلاقيك زول ويسأل: كيف اصبحت؟ تجربة وجودية عديل كدا. طيب تعال شوف كمية التزوير في الجواب! طبعاً مافي زول بيجاوب على السؤال دا بالضبط كدا. كلنا تقريبين في السؤال دا وفي غيره من اسئلة كثيرة. الجواب هو المصطنع في أغلب الأحوال وليس السؤال! ياخي حتى السؤال الغبي، الواحد بيتمرمط أمامه. لذلك سؤال الضهبان دا هو موئل الغناء والشعر الكاذب والبطولات! ومن الناس من يحاول أن يغشك! إنهم أهل الاجابات الذين تتكوّر ذواتهم في نهايات الأسطر، مدلهّمة. نقطة سطر جديد! - هوي انت هه! يعني شايل ليك اجابة كدا وفرحان بيها، قايل السؤال مات!؟ دعني أقول لك: جميع الأسئلة التي سمعت والتي لم تسمع بها، جميعها تتمتع بخلود مطلق! السؤال فيهو حيوية والاجابة ديمة نايصة. السؤال بيخلع وجامد. الجواب هو ختة النَفَس، التقية من عصف المشاعر. السؤال، أي سؤال، فيهو

MovieGlobe: Japan's Version of Romeo and Juliet

Romeo and Juliet (2007) Japan Original Article by: Fateh Mirghani-Japan I have just finished watching the masterpiece of Shakespeare” Romeo and Juliet “in its Japanese version. The quality of the movie is great and the soundtrack, injected with a little Japanese folklore music, has given it a sensational dimension and Eastern fascination! Basically, the theme of the movie remains the same as the original play, and that has been a particular Japanese notion in dealing with other nations’ cultural products. Part of the reason may lay in Japan's sensitivity to other nations’cultural products- given the long standing historical disputes with its neighbours, and part of it may lay in a fierce sense of homogeneity that has come to characterize Japan as an island nation-state since time immemorial. الواقعية المفرطة Hyperreality

إذا أفلس التاجر... الواقعية المفرطة (Hyper-reality) عند جان بودريار (1927ـ2007) محمد عثمان دريج، 2008   تمهيد: كانت من ضمن الهدايا التي وصلتني خلال أعياد الميلاد الماضية (2007) باقة زهور متوسطة الحجم. كانت الزهرات داكنة الحمرة و كانت أغصانها داكنة الخضرة. و كنت قبل تلقى هذه الباقة قد رأيت مثلها (هكذا خُيِّل لى) منصوبة امام موظفى الصرّفات فى مصرف مجاور. لفتت إنتباهى زهرات المصرف والتي عندما إقتربت منها و تحسستها تيقنت من أنها كانت صناعية و ليست "طبيعية". و بناءاً على تلك النتيجة "المخزّنة" فى ذاكرتي تعاملت بالمثل مع باقة الزهور الهدية على إعتبار أنها هى الأخرى صناعية مثلها مثل الكثير مما يستخدم اليوم لأغراض الزينة و خلافها. و لكن بعد أيام قليلة لاحظت أن الباقة الهدية قد بدت فى حالة أشبه إلى الذبول و كان لسان حالي يقول "أيعقل" أن تذبل حتى الأزهار الصناعية؟ من أين لها بهذا الإمتياز؟ و لكن لدى اقترابي منها و تحسسى لها إندهشت عندما إكتشفت بأن باقتى لم تكن صناعية بل كانت "طبيعية". حاولت معالجة الأمر و تقديم الماء و الهواء و
