Movie Critic Review: A Clockwork Orange
On the 40th anniversary of A Clockwork Orange a new enhanced Blu-Ray Disc (BD) of it was released. It is the soundtrack that is particularly excellent in this edition. It was Stanley Kubrick (SK), who adapted this film in 1971 from a successful novela by the British author Anthony Burgess. Following death threats related to the movie's violent and sexual content he and his family had received, SK had to stop the screening of the movie. There were reports of copycat crimes of rape and murder committed by teenagers who saw A Clockwork Orange which was initially rated X (just like porn) but later acquired the R rating.
